Virtual Hour Experience with Young Learners Through Zoom

Despite meeting weekly through Zoom, the young learners were still able to learn new math skills and bond with classmates. This virtual experience, while limiting, brought a new appreciation for school and learning. Working in breakout rooms, playing games, and personal experiences with the cooperating teacher added to the positive outcomes of the virtual sessions.

  2. Although meeting weekly through Zoom and not in person, the young learners were still able to learn new math skills and get to know their new classmates. This new experience although limited their learning and could be hectic at times, it gave the students a new appreciation for how much they really do enjoy going to school and learning. Zoom University

  3. Benefits 1 2 3 Working in breakout rooms and helping the students who need a little more help. Using breakout rooms as a reward with some of the students and play games. Students breaking out of there shells a bit and speaking more.

  4. Personal Experience Cooperating Teacher was very welcoming and guided me through things Gave advice on how I should handle and approach things I ve never had to handle before Cooperating teacher also allowed me to take the initiative with the class if she was working with a student individually.
