The journey begins Day 1-29 Journey Work Related Requirements Day 1) Report health condition/self certify Day 1-14: all work requirements switched off Day 8-14) Record fit notes Day 15+: work preparation and work search restart Day 14-28) Keep recording fit notes Day 29) Referral for Work Capability Assessment

  4. Switch-off and tailoring table Do not manually change the Labour Market Mandatory Switch Off Tailoring Options Day 1 - 14 availability work search work preparation work focused interview Day 15+ availability work search work preparation work focused interview

  5. The journey continues Day 29+) Referral recorded on MSRS (Medical Services Referral System), to notify Centre for Health & Disability Assessment(CHDA) CHDA sends out the health questionnaire (UC50) Claimant fills the questionnaire and return it to CHDA in the envelope provided (max 4 weeks) CHDA can request further information: GP/ f2f or phone assessment CHDA records a recommendation (fit, LCW, LCWRA) on MSRS

  6. The journey ends Decision Maker Administrator create make a decision to do Decision Maker records the decision & inform claimant via journal message 1 month for mandatory reconsideration Possible additional award Labour Market change

  7. Important WCA decision pending: Labour market: Intensive Work Search Commitments: reviewed & tailored Fit Notes: still required/no gaps No decision disclosed to claimants, unless recorded on UC Work Coach keeps in contact Health Questionnaire must be sent by post in prepaid envelop, not online Decisions not recorded Incorrect address
