  1. Tips to care for your tissue silk & jute saree

  2. Tissue silk sarees are a marvel of lightweight elegance. The sheer, lustrous fabric is woven from delicate silk threads, giving it a unique, shimmering quality. Because these sarees are so refined, they need gentle handling to keep them looking pristine. Ideally, you should opt for dry cleaning to maintain their sheen and prevent any issues with water or detergent.

  3. To prevent snags, be extra careful while handling and wearing your tissue silk saree. Sharp objects, rough jewelry, or even abrasive surfaces can catch and pull the delicate threads, leading to unsightly snags. Always handle your saree with clean, dry hands to prevent transferring oils or dirt.

  4. ay the saree flat on a clean, dry towel to absorb excess moisture. Make sure the saree is completely dry before storing it to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. When ironing, do so on the turn- around side with a warm setting. Put a lean cloth between the iron and the saree to shield the fragile strings from direct heat.

  5. Iron while the saree is still slightly damp, using a medium heat setting. Use a pressing cloth between the iron and the saree to avoid direct contact, which could damage the fabric.

  6. Handle them with clean, dry hands to stop exchanging oils or soil. Store them in a cool, dry put away from sunlight. For tissue silk sarees, utilize breathable texture packs or cotton covers.

  7. Opt for cotton or linen storage bags and avoid overly tight or compressed storage solutions that could damage the fabric. Jute sarees can attract dust and lint, so use a lint roller or a soft brush to gently remove any particles without causing harm.
