  2. What Makes Bulleit Special? Bulleit Frontier Whiskey is especially high in rye content, giving it a bold, spicy character with a distinctively smooth, clean finish. Bulleit is crafted in small batches, using pure limestone-filtered water to provide the foundation for the whiskey s character, while charred American oak barrels lend all of the color and some of the flavor. Bulleit is award-winning, with both the exceptional liquid and the frontier-inspired bottle having won multiple international spirits competitions. 2
