Wait a minute I can do both, at the same time?! It s not just a case of doing a degree at university, or doing an apprenticeship. You can do a combination of both. They re called degree apprenticeships, and they re fantastic! Let s find out why
What are degree apprenticeships? Get on-the-job training, as you would with a conventional apprenticeship Study towards a degree, at the same time Study part-time at a college or university Get paid a wage for working, and your tuition fees covered win-win! There are lots of fantastic opportunities you can access through a degree apprenticeship route - let s have a look at one.

Why choose a degree apprenticeship over university? There are plenty of advantages to enrolling on a degree apprenticeship: Degree level qualifications: you will finish your apprenticeship with a bachelor s degree or equivalent No fees: you won t have any student loans to pay back Real job experience: unlike your university buddies, you will be getting day-to-day experience working within the sector you want to build you career in Good salary: degree apprenticeships often offer salaries ranging from around 250- 400+ per week!
