  1. Looking Ahead: Post-16 Choices Your Careers Advisor Suzanne Mason

  2. You have a decision to make. What are you going to do after your GCSE s? 6thForm College focus on A levels or a combination of A levels and BTEC Level 3. College vocational courses focused on developing practical skills or to focus on academic options such as A levels. Apprenticeships to register for a level 2 or 3 apprenticeship go to: www.gov.uk/apply-apprenticeship

  3. Key Points to consider What subjects am I good at? And what do I enjoy? What is my learning style? Is it academic (A Levels) or a more vocational / technical route (BTECs, T Levels)? Do I have the grades I need? Do I have a back-up plan? Am I going to university? What subjects do I need to access the course? What subjects do I need to study to get the job I want in the future?

  4. Key Things to do Have a discussion with your careers advisor, Suzanne in school every Wednesday and some Mondays/ Fridays. Have a discussion with your parent/carer.
