This User Manual template will help you articulate how you work and how your team can help you succeed. It can also be used as a tool for self-reflection. By being explicit about what works, your team can work together to develop a culture which supports you as individuals. Why should I use this? Because the User Manual is designed for everyone, consider sharing it with your manager, colleagues or anyone you oversee. If you re a manager planning to introduce the User Manual to your team, be sure to create opportunities for discussion. Consider filling it out first to demonstrate openness and vulnerability.
