Your resume shouldn t have any pronouns. Write in the third person while detailing your work. (Presentation of)/(Presented) a review article titled 'Experimental Modelling of Hydraulic Fracturing and The Impact of Methane produced during the process' in the Paper Presentation Competition. The review article analyses the scope of fracking in India with respect to factors like water supply and seismic activity. Mention latest work experience/project/PoR etc at top under any section. Only write what you are confident of. Your resume should fit into one page and shouldn t have any blank spaces. HR Questions (Notes) HR Questions (Notes) Fill the Google Form/Treat any process seriously. Perform a thorough search of the company, find out it s values and try to incorporate it into your interview/application. HUL has projects aimed at sustainability etc. HR Questions don t vary much, it s best to prepare for them beforehand with a lot of time at your disposal. Why do you want to intern at XYZ? [Make it company specific- align it with their values subtly] Prepare keywords for HR Questions, don t learn answers to avoid coming off as mechanical. While answering HR Questions, keep in mind what the recruiters are trying to gauge from a particular question. Case Assessment Case Assessment Studying SCM will you give you an upper hand, revise key SCM terms (Six Sigma Level, Full Truck Load etc) HireVue platform was used for online case assessment. 3 case scenarios with different questions, 2 minutes to read the case and think and 3 minutes to answer. Out of the 3 questions, one was directly related to SC, the other was managerial, and one was based on current situation. These questions are based on real-life situations and have no correct answer. A hair product was launched three years ago in UK, the product was a hit and the company made huge profits. They are planning to enter and launch the product in the Indian market; however, they do not have the infrastructure required to produce it locally. What would you suggest? What are the pros and cons of your suggestion? Prepare by going through online Supply Chain Case Studies. Technical Interview Technical Interview Revise your resume study your projects, especially your PS1 thoroughly, the theory behind it. Be prepared for situation-based questions on your PS-1 and projects. Revise Core subjects thoroughly. Major focus on: SCM [strongly recommended for Mech] Fluid Mechanics Pumps (Types,NPSH), Pipes (Types, Schedule Number) Separation Processes-1 Heat Transfer (basics- types of heat, Types of HE and their utility) Lab basics (How to measure viscosity etc) Calm yourself and don t be nervous. Think before answering, take 10-15 seconds to think and answer. Be aware of your hand movements, sit up straight and look directly into the camera.
