Pathos Four score and seven years ago.. Our fathers Conceived in liberty -> emotion
Ethos Now we are engaged We are met on a great battlefield of that war. We have come to dedicate credability
Logos It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to unfinished work, which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. -> appeal to logic
Amplification Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation nation nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. nation, or any -> figure of speech that repeats a word while adding more detail
