Supporting the business Policy reviews for Travelling Safely completed Review of job evaluation policy signed off by TU as well as update to redundancy and redeployment guidance. Delivery or facilitation of FOI Foundation Training; FOI Advanced Training; Advanced Human Rights; BCS certificate in Data Protection; Conflict Management; Dignity, Diversity and Inclusion; Credit Files; Media Skills Training; Customer Service Training; Influencing and Negotiation Skills. Advice and support provided to managers who are investigating or hearing disciplinary and grievance issues. Fire risk assessment updated and reviewed. Recruitment training delivered to managers. Preparation for and attendance at Employment Tribunal. Support/guidance provided to managers taking formal sickness management action. Average evaluation of training courses evaluated is meeting or exceeding expectations. Audits by Grant Thornton and NAO on payroll and pension process assurance completed successfully. Occupational health reviews completed, and reasonable adjustments enacted. 2013/14 pay review completed and implemented. Delivering services Work commenced on 2014/15 pay review Treasury Guidance published in March 2014. An average of 29 hours formal learning per staff member, compared with CIPD average of 25 hours. c3,400 payroll transactions/ changes/updates in year. c1,300 classroom days delivered to date. ICO staged with pension auto- enrolment in Feb 2014 c580 delegates have attended Know about sessions. Work commenced on the required pension data cleanse for new 2015 pension scheme. Procurement of staff health checks underway.
