Tips for Producing Posters in Powerpoint Suggested fonts: Main heading = font size 70+ Verdana Arial Open Sans Calibri Subheadings = font size 40-50 Tahoma Trebuchet Standard text = font size 20+ Key sections to include: *These slides are already set to A1 landscape To do this in a new Powerpoint: Project title (make this catchy and interesting) and the people involved 1. Click on the Design tab Background/initial problem/quality issue 2. Click on Slide Size Aim 3. Select Custom Slide Size and enter dimensions for width and height Method/strategy for change and measures 4. A1 landscape W = 84.1cm L = 59.4cm Results/effects of change show your PDSA data 5. A1 portrait W = 59.4cm L = 84.1cm Conclusions/learning and what s next Use charts and images where possible. Before sending to print: Use colours wisely. Export to PDF Line it up to keep things tidy. Make sure you tell the printers what size you want your poster to be Leave space around edges and objects.
