Engaging in a variety of impactful community service projects, students from South Conway Elementary have demonstrated their compassion and dedication to helping others. From organizing blood drives to supporting local shelters and participating in environmental initiatives, these young learners are making a difference in their community through their acts of kindness and generosity.

Service Learning for South Conway Elementary Small Helping Hands-CD/3yr Olds Held a Fall Blood Drive- Collected 12 units of blood Held a Spring Blood Drive- Collected 18 units of blood Minding the Manor- Kindergarten Made 100 sets of fall decorations for Conway Manor Made 200 Christmas ornaments for Conway Manor Sang for Conway Manor at Christmas Made 100 sets of Valentine Cards/decorations for Conway Manor

Working with the Special Olympics- 1stGrade Took part in the Polar Plunge and raised money for Special Olympics Meeting with friends monthly from other classes in the school SWAT (Severe Weather Awareness Team)- 2nd Grade Raised money for hurricane Relief- $472.00 Collecting Water Bottles Students met Ed Piotrowski and Brooke Holden to talk about severe weather

  3. PAWS- 3rdGrade A drive to collect peanut butter, oatmeal and other edibles to create goodie bags for animal shelters Trash to Treasure- 4thGrade Recycled Newspaper, cans and plastic Created recycle videos Poster Contests Campus Clean Up Day Repurposed Projects

  4. FIND (Fifth Grade Inspired to Do Nice Deeds)- 5thGrade Supported Operation Christmas Child and collected 114 items which created 14 shoeboxes Collecting summer snack bags for CAP- collecting items now through May Horry County Animal Shelter- SPED Collected and delivered 3 loads of blankets/towels Will collect leashes/collars for Spring Create barriers for cages and sound barriers
