Ms. Jenny Johnson, a proud Northwoods Elementary alum, is excited to begin her second year teaching at Northwoods. With 25 years of experience in Onslow County, she aims to help students discover new books and explore fun topics to reach their learning goals. Ms. Johnson shares memories of her first-grade year and her favorite hobbies like gardening and spending time with family and friends, including her rescue dog, Lizzie. 1. Ms. Johnsons Meet the teacher 2023-2024

2. Ms. Jenny Johnson This will be my second year teaching at Northwoods Elementary. I am a proud Northwoods Elementary alumni! I have taught grades K-2 in Onslow County for 25 years.

3. It will be an exciting year in first grade! I will do my best to help you find new favorite books and research a lot of fun topics. I look forward to helping you reach your learning goals!

4. I have some wonderful memories of my first grade year at Northwoods. Liz Owens, a founder of Zing Zumm's Children's Museum, was my first grade teacher. A few years ago she came to visit my class dressed as Amelia Bedelia! Pictures: My All About Me poster from first grade and Mrs. Liz Owens

5. Some of my favorite things: Gardening, spending time with family and friends, my dog, beach trips, reading, nature photography

6. I love growing flowers and a few vegetables.
