OPERATION OPERATION MOUNTING AND REMOVING BLADE ?? Align tractor with blade and quick-attach frame as- sembly. Driveforwarduntilthefrontbracketiswithin 6.0 of front mounting assembly. Shut off tractor and set brakes. Operation of the 702C Front Blade will depend on type of work performed. Several basic points will aid front blade operation. 1. Blades are designed for moving snow and loose dirt. Do not abuse blade by prying rocks or stumps with high impact loads. ?? Connect hoses to mid mount couplers being careful tokeepthemclearoftherearmountingassemblies. ?? Restart the tractor and activate the lift cylinder by moving the control handle. Raise or lower the front mounting assembly until the round cross tube lines up with the front bracket on the tractor. 2. When using blade for snow removal, skid shoes should be set properly to avoid gouging of surface material. 3. Usethebladewisely.Donotoverloadthefrontblade capacity. ?? Release the brakes and slowly drive the tractor for- warduntilthefrontmountingassemblyslidesintothe front mounting bracket. 4. Use float position on auxiliary valve for back bladeing. ?? Using the control handle raise the Front Blade until the rear mounting assemblies move into position with the rear mounting plates. 5. Usefloatpositiononauxiliaryvalvetoallowtheblade to follow the contour of the ground and remove sur- face material only. ????? ?? ??????? ??? ?? ????? ??? ????? ??????? ??? ?????? ??? ?????? ??? ??? ???? ???????? ??????????? ?? Shut off the tractor and set the brakes. Secure the rear mounting assemblies to the rear mounting plates with 3/4 x 2.00 clevis pins and hair pin cotters. (Installtheclevispinsfromthecenteroftractorout.) CONTROLS The hydraulic lift and hydraulic angle are operated by a single control lever located on the right side of the trac- tor. Operate control lever in the following manner: ?? Reverse process to remove Front Blade. STORAGE Check hoses for cracks or wear and replace if neces- sary. Be sure all hydraulic ports are capped. Check cut- ting edge for wear and replace if necessary. Store front blade in a clean dry place. Coat exposed parts of cylinder rods using a rust preventative such as grease. MAINTENANCE Front blade is designed for minimum amount of mainte- nance. Torque check all bolts after first ten hours of op- eration. Refer to torque chart on page 11. ?? Lubricate grease fitting on main pivot pin daily. ?? Check tractor hydraulic oil level periodically and re- plenish if necessary. ????? ?????? ????? ???????? ?? ????? ??? ??? ?? ???? ???? ?????? ?????? ????????? ?? Replacedamagedhosesimmediately.Repairanyoil leakpromptlytoavoiddamagetohydraulicsystem. ?? Torque check all mounting bolts periodically. Refer to torque chart on page 11. 5 ????????????
