CALTIME WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW The Holiday Pay Premium pay code will automatically be created by CalTime when an eligible employee works on a premium holiday such as Labor Day. The new pay code does not need to be added by a supervisor or employee. For example, if an employee works 8 hours on Labor Day, they will automatically get 8 hours of holiday pay premium (time and one-half). If an employee works ten hours they get ten hours of Holiday Pay premium (for all hours worked). If an employee has a missed punch on the holiday, the supervisor simply needs to add the missed punch (or if necessary adjust the in and out punch) and CalTime will automatically generate the Holiday Pay Premium hours. Timekeepers do not have access to edit the Holiday Pay Premium pay code. The pay code will automatically be adjusted when the employees in and out punches are adjusted on the holiday HOP has been added to the hours genie The Holiday Pay Premium pay code in CalTime maps to the DOS code HOP in PPS. You will see HOP in PPS when an employee worked hours on a Premium pay holiday.
