Italian Navy Hydrographic Institute Capacity Building Activities
Italian Navy Hydrographic Institute, under the leadership of Captain Lamberto Orlando Lamberti, conducts a range of academic and training courses as well as projects to enhance hydrographic surveying capabilities. These initiatives include offering high-level courses for Category A and B hydrographic surveyors, conducting job training surveys, and collecting hydrographic data through modern methodologies. Foreign students benefit from these activities both in Italy and abroad, contributing to improved navigation safety through updated charts. The Institute also provides various educational and training courses for marine geomatics and hydrography, aimed at building competence among military and civilian personnel.

CAPACITY BUILDING ITALIAN CONTRIBUTION ON JOB TRAINING SURVEYS (Hydrography, performed Boat/Rubber-boat: Geodesy, IT Topography, Survey Oceanography Vessels and Marine Geophysics/Geology) and Survey with a. Sea Time & Field Survey during the HS Course practical stage (in ITALY) a. FOREIGN STUDENTS benefited from activities in their Countries focused on training aspects (ABROAD Navies Bil Coop umbrella) a.
