MC Specialty Planners Spec Leader caveats/concerns: Long training (NSGY, CT Surg, vascular, OTO) who are competitively selected to go straight through may not be able to get operational time given need for case collection prior to oral boards. This may hamper their ability to select for CDR. No consideration for tracks (educational, research). Senior/Exec Operational billets may be unrecoverable for proceduralists.
