  1. ST JOSEPHS Y6 SATS INFORMATION EVENING

  2. W/C 8THMAY 2022 Tuesday : SPAG (45 mins) & Spelling (20 mins) Wednesday: Reading (1 hour) Thursday: Maths paper 1(30 mins) and paper 2 (40 mins) Friday: Maths paper 3 (40 mins) Then we are done! Party to be arranged. Ask Italian 4.15pm

  3. ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS Children can ask to have questions read to them in all tests except for the reading test. Any children with additional needs who usually have scribes, breaks, coloured paper, etc. this is all in place.

  4. ARRIVE EARLY IF YOU CAN! Hall doors 8am Breakfast we provide Playtime 8.30 - 8.45am Toilet/drink/team talk @ 8.45am Can bring a snack for the test must be dry, not sticky, in a container with NO writing on it, e.g. raisins, blueberries, etc.

  5. Robinwood YEAR 6 PARENTS INFORMATION EVENING

  6. DORMS: Boys & girls are in separate dorms Alarmed doors/night staff Checked every 30 minutes during the night minimum Call buttons in the dorms for children to use Bedding included can bring a sleeping bag Bathrooms on each floor by the dorms Showers are timetabled between activities

  7. FOOD: Plenty of it! Children get to choose Plenty of drinks stations between activities bring a water bottle please with name on Fruit available all day No packed lunch needed on arrival day Please chat with me if you have concerns

  8. ACTIVITIES: Climbing wall Crate challenge Quests Raft building Canoeing Dungeon of doom Trapeze Big Swing Zip Wire Piranha Pool

  9. GROUPINGS: Dorms supportive peers Day groups with at least one close friend

  10. CLOTHING: Kit lists will be been sent home Nothing new or fancy needed! Fleeces, waterproofs, wellies are available All wet clothes get laundered MUST be dressed appropriately on the first day ready for a good walk uphill footwear and waterproof coat needed Bobbles for long hair Kit bags are provided by RW

  11. MEDICINES: Hand in to Mrs Holmes on the day we go Label all medications Include written instructions on how to administer and when Medical details: advise me if there are any updates

  12. STAFFING: Mrs Ward, Mrs Holmes and Ms Crolla

  13. POCKET MONEY: 5 maximum Children are responsible for their own money

  14. GADGETS? No electrical gadgets at all including mobile phones, ipads, hairdryers, straighteners, etc.

  15. BEHAVIOUR: Excellent behaviour is expected Parents would need to collect their child if behaviour was not good enough
