  1. GONZAGA MARBLE MOUNTAIN SKI March 5th-March 8th, 2015 TRIP

  2. DATES THURSDAY, MARCH 5TH-SUNDAY, MARCH 8TH Buses will arrive around 8:00am. Students will be required to arrive to school by 8:00am to load equipment onto the buses. You will load buses according to rooms. Only small luggage allowed- not a lot of space. We will be leaving Corner Brook on Sunday around 8:00am for a 5:00pm arrival time in the Gonzaga parking lot.

  3. BUSES There are two buses: 1 coach with a bathroom 1 smaller coach with no bathroom (ONLY for emergencies) Buses will be divided by rooms (45/25 split) We will make ONE stop in Gander for a maximum of 45 minutes Use bathroom and get food we will be stopping at a strip mall with many options to eat

  4. ACCOMMODATIONS Marble Villa Nestled at the base of Marble Mountain is Marble Villa, the only true ski-in / ski-out accommodation at Marble Mountain Resort, located 200 feet from the Black Mariah chairlift. Marble Villa offers tastefully decorated studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom condominium-style suites which are equipped with: Telephone (free local calls, long distance calls collect or with calling card only) Voice mail Complimentary wireless Internet Full kitchen (full fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, double sink, dishwasher) or kitchenette (hot plate, mini fridge, single sink) Keurig coffee maker and kettle with complimentary coffee and tea TV with cable Laundry facilities onsite Clock radio Hairdryer

  5. FOOD Food trips to Grocery Store on Thursday night (breakfast food for Friday, Saturday and Sunday; lunch on Friday and Saturday; snacks) Pizza party on Friday night while night skiing Around 6:00pm on Saturday night, we will take the bus into Corner Brook for supper. Hang out at lodge to play cards/board games or bowling??

  6. SKIING Lesson to get lift ticket regardless of experience liability Waiver To be passed back by MONDAY No later Equipment form skiing and snowboarding are separate PRINT NEATLY USE PEN Warm Clothing (goggles) see letter Being safe Teacher will always be in the lodge in case of injury You are responsible for your own equipment and rentals Always ski in groups or pairs- if you need help find a ski patrol or text a chaperone Alpine Responsibility Code on back of waiver

  7. RULES Drinking, drugs, smoking not permitted at all you will be sent home at your parents expense and police will be called Rooms noise/curfew/wake up calls/chaperone visits Damage to Marble Villa property your responsibility You are required to ski as much as possible no staying in rooms! Not permitted to leave property without a chaperone you are to stay on the ski hill side of the road HAVE FUN!!!

  8. FOR MONDAY!!!! Waiver forms to be submitted to Ms. Browne in room 201 Verify your room number and roommates with Mrs. Browne Make sure your equipment information has been filled out before you leave school today separate forms for skiers and snowboarders! The extra $5.00 must be paid no later than Monday!
