  1. Year 6 PGL Residential 2022 Wednesday 18th Friday 20thMay

  2. Dates and timings Procedures (departure and return to school etc.) Where is it? What we will cover Activities What to expect when we are there Kit List Any Questions?

  3. Wednesday 18thMay - Come to school as normal - Coach will leave at 09:30(ish) Dates and timings Friday 20thMay - Coach will leave at 13:30 to arrive back at 15:30/16:00(ish) - There will be communication with parents as to our expected arrival time at school.

  4. Morning of Wednesday 18th - Children will come to school as normal but in own clothes ready for their first activities on arrival. - Bring bags and any medication to the hall. - Medication will be collected by the trips first aider along with the signed parental consent form. Procedures Children will be responsible for their own luggage and so they must be able to carry their own bags Children must bring a packed lunch on Wednesday 18th

Our provisional list of activities include: - Low level ropes course - Jacob s ladder - Raft building the children WILL get wet! - Buggy building - Hiking bring sensible shoes Activities - Challenge course - Problem solving We will also have an evening activity on both the Wednesday and Thursday evenings so bring some warm clothes for this too.

  7. We will be given our own reps who will be with us during down time, meal times and evening activities. All activities are led by fantastic, fully trained instructors. What to expect We will be located in our own corridor/block altogether. Meals are served to the children at a counter in the canteen where they will get a choice of mains along with a salad bar and pudding.

  8. Children will be in shared bedrooms (boys with boys and girls with girls) Each bedroom will have a shared bathroom. There will be room inspections! Children will let us know of people they would like to room with and we will guarantee they will be with at least one of those people. What to expect Children will not find out who they are rooming with until they are on the coach/arrived at PGL. Activity groups will be randomly allocated differently so that the children get to mix as a year group.
