Introduction This Webinar may be recorded to allow us create on-line training resources for Members. This will allow you to come back to the Members Corner and review various reporting procedures in the future. We will present this course from a training instance of Salesforce with sample data. This setup may not be similar to your own configuration.
Introduction Customer trust is our highest priority at Salesforce. The global threat landscape is constantly evolving, and the types of attacks that can cripple a business and exploit consumers are on the rise. It's more important than ever to implement stronger security measures. Which is why we're announcing a future requirement for all customers to enable MFA. MFA is one of the easiest, most effective tools for enhancing login security, and safeguarding your business and data against security threats.

Set up Permission Set Go to Permission Sets, NEW Click to add text
Set up Permission Set 3 Give your Permission Set a NAME 6 Leave Licence as NONE otherwise it will only work with 1 type of Licence Click to add text
Set up Permission Set Click to add text Click to add text Then scroll up to the top and click EDIT, this will then allow you to click the check box
Set up Permission Set This is the SYSTEM permission you need to add Click to add text Multi-Factor Authentication for User Interface Logins Require users to provide an additional verification method in addition to their username and password when logging in to Salesforce orgs. Be careful not to pick the wrong one - check text as above
Assign Permission Set After you create the Permission Set click Assign Then Assign it to one or two users

Admins to Generate Code So what happens if a user loses their phone or comes in to work without it? 1. System Admin can go to a user record and generate a code 2. When Sys Adm clicks on Generate, they may be asked to verify using the Authenticator themselves (next slide)
Admins to Generate Code This code can be used throughout the day or for as many hours as you decide eg 4 or 8 hours Then when you receive the code you copy and paste it and pass it on via email to the user, or call it out over landline
Admins to Generate Code The user then adds the code, which they can use for several hours When they click Verify they may get this screen offering Lightning Login, but they are probably best to choose 1 or 2 below
Follow up Read the documentation Watch the videos Start giving advance notice to your users Create the Permission Set Assign it to one or two users who have the app on their phone Review Assign Permission Set to more users Raise a support request with Enclude
