Minnesotans have invested in disseminating recreation information through programs like MnREC, but this program has faced challenges such as lack of attention and staff turnover. To rejuvenate access to recreation information, online platforms, print-on-demand services, and GPS loadable maps are being introduced to provide up-to-date and user-defined content. The flexibility and convenience of these modern tools aim to meet the high expectations of consumers and ensure that recreation information remains easily accessible to all.
