Hey yall! My name is Megan Moore and I will be your child s virtual teacher this year. I have been teaching for seven years and am looking forward to being part of the Coosada Elementary School family this school year. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters. We love to travel! I can not wait to start this virtual adventure. Students may arrive as early as 7:10 a.m. (No adult supervision on campus prior to this) Tardy Bell Rings at 7:45 a.m. Car riders are released at 2:30 p.m. Please be here by 2:20p.m. First load bus riders will load at 2:30 pm Second load bus riders will load around 2:45pm -- This year we will be doing a late start for the first week in Kindergarten. Make sure I know how your child will be getting home! If they are riding a bus, I need to know the address they are to be dropped off. Students will need to wear the transportation tags for the first 2 weeks of school. Return tags daily!!! ALL TRANSPORTATION CHANGES MUST BE MADE IN WRITING AND PLACED IN CHILD S FOLDER. School Lunches are $2.50 daily Please send lunch money on Mondays. Make sure you put your phone number on all checks written to the school. You can pay online through My School Buck Juice/Snack are $0.75 each. Pay for juice/snack daily (CASH ONLY) Lunch money and Snack money must be separate!! All other money should be placed in front of the folder and labeled. Breakfast Breakfast will be free for ALL STUDENTS. We will have breakfast in our classroom from 7:15-7:40. Ordering Lunches This year you will be ordering your child s lunch from home on My School Bucks. You will need to do this a week in advance. Where are we eating lunch? Field Trips As of now we will not be going on field trips this year. However we will be taking virtual field trips in the classroom. This will help students experience other parts of the world. Volunteers Normally we would love for parents to volunteer in our classroom and on field trips. However this year there will be no volunteers on parents on campus until the pandemic is over. Remind I will be using Remind this year to communicate with you. I will post announcements, reminders, and alerts for the important information from our classroom and school. Grading Your child will be given a Day 5 Assessment. This is a test on what was taught throughout the week. This will allow all parents to know what your child needs help in.
