California Community College Initiatives for Zero Textbook Cost Programs
California community colleges are implementing various initiatives to provide zero-cost educational materials to students, such as the Zero Cost Degree Grant program, ZTC Grants, and Acceleration Grants. This includes funding allocations, training on accessibility and Open Educational Resources (OER), and the creation of OER for specific courses like calculus and linear algebra. Student Equity and Success Champions are also actively involved in promoting student success and equity within the community colleges.
