Your budget You are successful at interview for the role of Chief Executive of your local authority called Oakbrook. You need to decide how to spend the county/city/town s money on things that will help as many people as possible. What would you spend the most money on and why? How can you be sure it will help the most people? Where can you find information about the people who live there?
Census information You've received the latest census information about the people living in your county/city/town from the CSO. 7 in 10 people are reported to be in good or very good health national average: 8 in 10 Birth rate has been very high in the last five years 1.4 times the national average 4 in 10 families live in Poor housing conditions national average: 3 in 10 11% of people are unemployed national average: 5.8% How does this information change or confirm your ideas?
How does census information affect what matters to us? Protecting your information The census is one important factor that helps decide how taxes are spent on things like: Statistics from the census are completely anonymous. Personal information will not be published. Your census record is kept secure for 100 years.
