WCA 2020 countries plans &TCPs In Asia eight countries are planning to conduct an agricultural census during the WCA 2020 round: Country name Census year Bangladesh 2018 China 2017 India 2015/2016 Kazakhstan 2017 Pakistan 2017 Russia 2016 Timor Leste 2017 Viet Nam 2016 FAO is providing technical assistance to Bangladesh and Timor Leste through the following TCPs: Bangladesh, TCP/BGD/3502 (EOD: 01/12/2014 NTE: 31/12/2016) - Initial support to develop an Integrated Framework for Census (es) for Crop, Livestock and Fishery Timor Leste TCP/TIM/3502 BABY03 (EOD: 23/06/2014- NTE: 22/06/2015) Initial Support to Planning the First Agricultural Census (the project is closed, while the census is ongoing. 1 1

FAO is missing census materials from you (the list of missing census materials was provided to you by e-mail). We would be grateful if you could provide these materials to us. Some countries have not yet validated the metadata sent on July 2014. Please validate the metadata (sent to you by e-mail) on the last agricultural census conducted in your country. Please return it by the end of the Roundtable. Some countries have to fill-in the metadata. FAO have no census materials from you.
