  4. Agenda 1. Review the activities of AKMU from Sep. 2021 to till date 2. Discussion on the AKMU requirements and issues 3. Revision of Salary of contractual staff of AKMU

  5. Activities of Head, AKMU 1. Monitoring of AKMU Cell at GKVK and in all constituent colleges and ZARS at different campuses of the University. 2. Conducting training programme about AKMU for the personnel who are working at all constituent colleges and ZARS of the University. 3. Maintenance of Internet connectivity. 4. Design and development of University website with the assistance of web designer. 5. Maintenance and updating of UAS website periodically. 6. Maintenance of mail server and provide e-mail IDs to the users. 7. Providing assistance to the LAN clients in accessing internet. 8. Scheduling and conducting of AKMU Committee meeting and attending to all the works entrusted by the AKMU Committee including modernization, purchase and maintenance of hardware and software as per the procedures.

Configuring and maintenance of Online Classes using Zoom Licenses Maintaining Bheej Aadhar App Maintaining AKMU Stocks Network Admin Mr. Jabeeulla Maintaining Server Room Liaison with NIC, BSNL, NKN in internet /email access Planning and monitoring of GKVK Campus LAN Configuring and maintaining all network services & devices (switches, routers, access points) Ensuring smooth running of campus internet connectivity Attending complaints in internet access Coordinating with NIC and BSNL in trouble shooting of network issues.

  7. WORKS DONE BY AKMU STAFF ASSISTANT Mr. Ravisha, H.N. Processing of Bills (PDC Bill, AC Bill, DC Bill, etc.) Creating and maintenance of university email ids and facilitating email access. Monitoring and maintenance of AKMU Records & Registers Assisting in configuring & maintenance of network devices (switches, routers and access points) Resolving internet related issue in GKVK campus LAN. Assisting in communication & correspondences of AKMU Publishing news and events of UASB in social media DRE Employee (Attender) Up keeping of AKMU premises & server room Attending messenger duties of the AKMU Assisting & Supporting the AKMU staff activities

  8. Significant Achievements from Sep. 2021-Dec. 2022 1. Internet connectivity is maintained in coordination with NIC, NCBS and the downtimes are below 10 times during the period. 2. The email access issue pertaining to the Kavach Security Access was resolved through configuring users phone numbers. 3. Restored & upgraded internet connectivity to UG Girls Hostel Blocks with OFC cabling. 4. Facilitated in procuring and establishing dedicated online classrooms, meetings, ATMs, Guest Lectures with 20 educational zoom videoconferencing licenses. 5. Providing Wi-Fi internet connectivity in PG Boys Hostel, UG Girls Hostel, PG Girls Study Room & Ph.D. Dormitory. 6. Training on Adobe Creative Cloud was organised for 35 interested students of GKVK campus. 7. Established OFC internet connectivity to Krishimela Grounds 8. Automated Krishimela consultancy advisories through Direct SMS/ Whatsapp messages to farmers 9. Oriented more than 50 UG/PG students were oriented on use of AR/VR Headsets & visual modules.

  9. Significant Achievements from Sep. 2021-Dec. 2022 10. Regained the access to Delegated Admin Console (DAC) from NIC and email account subscriptions are managed at AKMU 11. Google Forms are uploaded in website for various purposes (Science week / email IDs / complaints / Hostel Vehicle, etc.) 12. WhatsApp Groups are formed as per the college needs and links to join them are shared in website. 13. Contents submitted for University website are updated within few hours www.uasbangalore.edu.in 14. New Website is ready to launch. All Contents incorporated into the new website as on Dec. 22. https://demo.uasbangalore.edu.in 15. Social Media instant updates on programmes, events, notifications, opportunities, etc (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Google Map, etc.) 16. Live streamed significant University events Science Week, Krishimela, Foundation Day, Convocation, etc. 17. Monitored and attended issues in internet connectivity on immediate basis. 18. Restoration of internet connectivity to Botanical Garden & Teachers Hostel
