  4. Minutes of Meeting of Third DAB 1. Mapping matrix of department mission with PEO was discussed and approved. A little improvement in the PSO with recent technology was suggested by Prof. Narkhede. It was suggested to be aligned with Industry 4.0 and activities should be carried out accordingly. 2. Academic progress and achievements of the students was presented to the committee. 3. The program outcomes (PO) attainment of the year 2018-19 as well as 2015-19 batch was critically discussed and opinion on action to be taken to improve the Pos (having less attainment) were taken from the experts. 4. The initiatives taken by the faculty in effective teaching and learning process was discussed. (Google Classroom, video lectures etc.) 5. Contribution by faculty such as research paper presented, minor research grant, book published etc. was discussed. Department of Mechanical Engineering

  5. Minutes of Meeting of Third DAB 6. Professional body such as ISHRAE and SAE activities and achievements were discussed. 7. Record of placement and higher studies was presented to the committee. 8. Regarding industrial visit, Mr. Garud said that visits for a day or two should be arranged so that there will actual learning. He stressed that students should also be trained on the practices and norms followed in the industry, so as to make them industry ready. 9. Training of students on GATE should be restarted, so that more students will be benefited for placement was suggested. 10. Mr. Garud expressed happiness over the increase in the number of Industry bound projects and said that this should be continued. Department of Mechanical Engineering

  6. Minutes of Meeting of Third DAB 11.Mr. Mistry said that groupdiscussion should be carried out for technical topics in labs for respective subjects. Prof. Nehete explained them that we do this under the title FlippedClassroom . 12.A suggestion on industry Institute interaction was given by Mr. Garud which was welcomed by everyone. He pointed out that gratitude should be offered to industry where students are placed, on occasions like new year or Diwali. 13.An STTP on Application of Object Oriented Programming in Mechanical Engineering under ISTE chapter is planned by the department. Looking at the contents of the STTP and its necessity, it was approved by the committee. Department of Mechanical Engineering
