New teachers often face challenges in their careers, starting in short-term positions with unclear terms that lead to high turnover rates. The education sector is experiencing teacher shortages, making it crucial to provide support and secure jobs for new educators. Signing the Promise to New Teachers ensures commitment to legal requirements and proper support to retain and empower new educators in their crucial roles. Take action by passing resolutions at the PPTA branch level to support this initiative.
