Pre-K Spring Indoor Soccer Timeline February 18th February 18th by Midnight RegistrationCloses: Conflicts Due: Division Email/Uniforms: February 20th (pick uniform color) February 24th in your DASH Account February 29th May 9th 3/8/20-3/15/20 (Spring Break) & 4/12/20 (Easter) Schedules Posted: Season Dates: No games: 8-game season; no playoffs or end-of season tournament

Registration Information Be sure your team is registered in the correct LOCATION & GRADE LEVEL Players can play up but not down Roster size is 10 players All players must pay the registration fee ($64) Let us know TODAY if you need players added to your roster Please contact parents/players by Saturday 2/22 We recommend minimum of 2 coaches, 3 is best!

Indoor Soccer Game Rules/Information Games begin at 8am and will be played every 45 minutes Games start on time; no warm-up between games; two halves @ 18 minutes 2 minutes between halves, 7 minutes between games Substitutions on-the-fly (player must be off before sub comes on); 50% play- time rule Referees not provided 1 coach stays inside tubes/bubble with players, others outside tubes overseeing substitutions and player management No parents or spectators allowed on the turf - only badged coaches listed on the DASH roster allowed on the turf Quick on/off between games. Enter on one side, exit through other side NO outside food and drink allowed in the building
Pre-K Rule Enforcement Guidance Players should not be consistently placed in front of the goal. NO GOALIES Foul Description Foul Progression 1st 2nd 3rd 4th Hand Ball Player touches the ball to improve advantage. V V V PK Pushing Extended arms pushing a player to gain advantage. V V PK D Contact Player engaged in body contact to gain advantage of the ball V V PK PK Stuck Ball Ball is stuck in corners or under the blue inflatable boundaries Drop Drop Drop Drop Legend V Verbal discussion regarding foul by the player s coach during the game. PK Penalty Kick by awarded to the team. Penalized team s players should be 5 to 7 steps back from the ball D Player should be pulled from the game for coaching regarding repetitive foul committed then return to player. Disciplinary time out is at the coach s discretion Drop A player from each team will be specified and the ball will be dropped by one of the coaches

Please enter games scores in Coaches Tools We will not be showing standings in DASH, but will be using the data to help create divisions for future seasons.
Conflicts Submit Via Coaches Tools Due Monday, 2/18 by 12pm Conflict Guidelines - Coach out of town IS NOT a conflict - Majority of team not available IS a conflict - Events such as YMCA Princess campouts - School events
Conflicts/Reschedules Submit your 3 conflicts ASAP through Coaches Tools PSA will make Best Effort to accommodate Once the schedule is released, it will be final Use Game Swap procedures to reschedule game

Indoor Soccer Equipment & Reminders Players must wear shin guards covered by socks Tennis shoes or indoor/turf shoes must be worn; NO CLEATS Matching jerseys with numbers on the back Game ball provided (size 3 - do not bring balls into the buildings) Games played at PSA 1, PSA Murphy, and PSA McKinney Arenas ONLY badged coaches are allowed on the turf
Uniforms PSA Shop Once divisions have been created, an email will be sent to the coaches The coach (or designated person) will be responsible for sending an email (NO phone calls please) directly to the PSA shop. The email should indicate the age level (age 3 or age 4/5), team name, coach name, division, and the top 3 color choices for the team Each division will have the same color choices. It will be first come, first served (NO exceptions!) All jerseys will be a youth size small. Please contact the PSA Shop if you need a larger size. They can tie knots, rubber bands, etc. if too big. Uniform pick-up will begin Saturday 2/22 (8am-4pm) through Friday 2/28 (M-F 12pm-7pm) Pick-up will take place in the PSA Shop at 6500 Preston Meadow Drive, Plano, TX ONLY Please email PSA shop manager at ttownsend@psaplano.org
Indoor Practices If you are a REGISTERED team and PAID IN FULL, you may call PSA to book a FREE 1-HOUR practice time slot on Saturday, February 22nd All practice slots based on availability (8am 5pm) PSA Front Desk number is 972-208-5437 Be sure to tell them which location you would like to have your practice (PSA1, PSA Murphy, PSA McKinney)
Sportsmanship Coaches set the tone for the parents and the players Remind parents they are to be role models for their children Treat opponents, coaches and time keepers/monitors with the same respect you would want for your own child and for yourself
