What’s New – Travel Program
SRYA has a plan to build its Travel Program – giving players whose
skills are advanced and opportunity to grow within SRYA.
Beginning with Senior Clinic, after each game, coaches identify the
best (skills & impact to game) 1 or 2 players on the
opposing
 team.
This will allow us to create Sr Clinic Elite (SCE) team to compete in the
Mountain Road Tournament in the fall. (SRYA pays entry fee).
Process repeats in the Spring season.
Those players selected to the Sr Clinic Elite teams will be invited to
tryout for Travel Development Program (TDP) in Spring (open to all
players).
Team will play County U8 D2 Fall season with hopes and expectations of
moving to County U8 D1 in Spring season.
Following Fall the team will be entered into EDP Travel league as u9
May adjust and build team every 2 years depending on number of
Boys vs Girls selected to TDP.
Will merge u8 and u9 and play u9 in EDP.

Factor in age to be balanced
