A message from the Headteacher Hello Reception! My name is Mrs Gallagher and I am the Headteacher at your new school. (Some of our Reception and Nursery call me the Big Boss !) I cannot wait for you all to come and join us and be part of our very special community. Your teachers have lots of fun and learning planned for you.
A message from the Early Years Lead Hello, I am Mrs Barnes and I m looking forward to you being part of our Nursery Class. We have got a year full of fun, learning and exciting adventures planned for you all! Here s a little more information about me: I have a cat called Marmalade. My favourite place in the beach. My favourite film is Paddington 2 I love sunflowers because they make me smile
Nursery Staff Hello, I am Miss Stott and I am the Nursery Class Teacher. Here s a little more information about me: My favourite colour is pink. I love having fun with my daughter at the park. My favourite food is spaghetti with meatballs My favourite holiday was when I went swimming with Dolphins in America.
Nursery Staff Hello, I am Miss Brooks and I am an Assistant of Learning working in the Nursery. Here s a little more information about me: I have a 2 children (1 boy and 1 girl) I love having Disney movie nights with lots of sweets My favourite film is the Good Dinosaur. My favourite place to go on holiday is Australia, as I get to see my family who live there. .
Drop Off / Collection The children in EYFS enter school at 8.45 am. Children are welcomed at the EYFS door by their teacher. You are more than welcome to come in with them in the first few weeks to help them and ask any questions. We then encourage children to come in the EYFS door independently when possible. Schools finishes for Nursery at 3.20pm Nursery parents can collected their children from the Nursery door at the side of the Early Years Outdoor Area.
Snack In Nursery, children can have a snack of fruit provided by the LA. All children are given free milk in school in their Nursery Year. Our snack time has a communication and language focus, as we share news and chat in groups while we have our snack.
Lunch Nursery school meals are 2.10 per day. Your child can bring a packed lunch if you prefer. If your child is having a school meal we have an on-line system for ordering your child s lunch. This must be completed by 9.00am each day. Teachers stay in with your child while they settle in to the hall. Nursery and Reception eat lunch together before the rest of the school. Starting school Official term dates are all on the school website. Due to Coronavirus, we cannot give start dates for each of our new pupils, but will be in touch as soon as we can. We are all looking forward to meeting all the children, welcoming them to our school community and seeing them playing in their new class soon!
