Seal – working with Chemeketa on a pilot
Assistance in funding for some assessments
Promote the Seal to our ever EL students
Begin conversations with area businesses about the meaning and
impact of hiring students with the Seal
 
OUTREACH:

Get the word out to the whole state

Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy program has made significant progress since its pilot year in 2014-2015. District-wise data, languages spoken, partner language assessments used, and future plans for expansion and outreach are outlined. The program aims to recognize and promote biliteracy among students, with a focus on increasing participation and post-secondary opportunities.
