How to Engage Sr. Colleagues Invite to be speakers at P5 Ask for advice Invite to present projects, needs and problems at WG/IG teleconferences, RDA- US activities, panels, etc. Invite software/infrastructure developer organizations to play a role in providing sustainable software and solutions Ask to contribute guest editorials/blogs to the RDA site, SG blog, Newsletter, etc. Establish a video interview series in which prominent members of the community are interviewed about data sharing challenges and solutions Secondary idea: traveling video series where RDA-US members interview people in-situ at conferences, etc. Via RDA publications that highlight success stories and news of interest
How to Select Members at Large Solicit suggestions from RDA-US AC (and WG/IG chairs) as driven by criteria: Involvement in international RDA efforts Participants in discipline-specific groups and professional societies Potential early adopters Note that should have one domain and one infrastructure person
