St. Gregory the Great: Children Learning Through Play
St. Gregory the Great provides a structured school day for children, focusing on play-based learning, inquiry-based activities, outdoor exploration, and various educational subjects such as gym, music, dance, visual art, and library time. The school also emphasizes routines like toileting independence and dressing/undressing skills to help children develop essential life skills. The schedule includes drop-off/pick-up procedures, morning assembly, snack times, and before/after-school care options. Parents can expect a well-rounded educational experience for their children in a nurturing environment that fosters learning and personal growth.

Entry and Dismissal Procedures Drop-off / pick up Bus Parkview Before/After School Due to the congestion and limited number of parking spots in our parking lot, in the morning we have a kindergarten Kiss n Ride. By the sidewalk in front of the kindergarten yard, you will see two educators (wearing vest) who will assist in helping your child out of the car. This is like an assembly line, parents/caregivers are asked to not exit their vehicle when using the kiss n ride. You are welcome to use the Kiss n Ride or park your car and walk your child to the gate.

Establishing Routines Toileting Independence Dressing and Undressing Every child is different and every child learns at his or her own pace. Begin now to get your child comfortable with the idea of using the toilet. That way you have a good amount of time to guide your child, stop if you need to and begin again before school starts.
