  4. 2021-2022 D7690 District Grants One New Change A Club President, +1, must still be responsible, review, approve and sign-off on all Club Grants. (note: There are 2 co-signatories on each grant: President +1 other Club Leader)

  5. 2021-2022 D7690 District Grants Key Dates and Deliverables Jan. 31, 2021 Org. Year 2021-2022 Draft District Grant Project requests in DACdb can be created. Feb. 18, 2021 Attend virtual Grants Management Training 2021 to qualify Rotary Club. April 15, 2021 2021-2022 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) co- signed to DRFC Grants Chair Pam Ray, to qualify your Rotary Club. Apr. 30, 2021 Clubs decide what District Grants they want to pursue for 2021-2022. May 8, 2021 Clubs decide how much help they want from District Grant Mentor. May 15, 2021 Final Reports (District Grants 2020-2021) due into DACdb Grants module. May 31, 2021 2021-2022 District Grant Project requests and MoU entered into DACdb Grants module. June 30, 2021 Club Leadership verifies 2021-2022 District Grant Project requests are approved in DACdb. Projects may start July 1, 2021. NOTE: Final Reports for District Grants completed and approved in DACdb within 1 month of project completion, and no later than May 1, 2022. May 15, 2022 Final Reports (District Grants 2021-2022) due into DACdb Grants module.

  6. 2021-2022 D7690 District Grants One New Change Your club is still responsible for: Holding accountability for their grants, projects and results. Providing new/changed/unique grant information [to Mentors]. Club President (+1) still review, approve and co-sign each grant. Club President (+1) still co-sign a Memorandum of Understanding by April 15. Providing receipts, required volunteer hours, financial and/or other information, as was required before, for the Final Report.

  10. 2021-2022 D7690 District Grants Prior Years Grant Analysis Why Change the current process? To reduce Club time and resources spent writing and submitting grants. As an example, looking at the last two Rotary Years: 28% of Club grants are new. Of these new grants, what % can be found already approved in other Districts or RI, which we might copy and do minor changes to? 72% of grants were recurring from the year before . . .
