2021-2022 Tag Season Overview: Referee Development and Challenges Due to COVID-19
In the 2021-2022 tag season, the referee program faced challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to cancellations of important events like the Trans-Tasman and Junior Nationals. Despite limited recruitment and departures, there are 70 referees from regions like Wellington, Waikato, Northland, and Auckland. Efforts are underway to drive new referee recruitment in 2022.

2021 - 2022 Tag Season Overview Referees Clinics we managed to get 2 in over the new year period of January and February, to be ready for Trans- Tasman and Junior Nationals but both were cancelled due to COVID-19
