Introduction of Braves Country Baseball and Softball Youth Organization League and All-Star tournament play for 5-12 year olds only COED, Buddy Ball, 14UB, and 15UG will still be available not through Braves Country Launches March 2024 Parks are divided into Classification Groups based on age groups 5-12 years old 1-299: C Classification 300-499: B Classification 500+ : A classification

4. What changes will I see? New Braves Country logos at our fields Different bats are approved Baseball 6U & Under must use USA 7U & Older any stamped bat that does not appear on a banned bat list (USSSA, USA, wood) Softball 6U & Under - aluminum bats only; no composite bats 8U & Older any stamped bat that does not appear on a banned bat list All-Star teams playing in district, regional, state, and Championship tournaments will see most of the changes Lower fees No out of state travel Occurs during the month of June only

5. Baseball Required to play in 8 games of the regular season Minimum of 9 kids per team MAXIMUM Number of coaches per team: 3 Coach Pitch, 3 Kid Pitch Date you are on April 30th determines your age group: 5u Coach Pitch Division: Players born up to April 30, 2017, are eligible. 6u Coach Pitch Division: Players born on/after May 1, 2017, are eligible. 7u Coach Pitch Division: Players born on/after May 1, 2016, are eligible. 8u Coach Pitch Division: Players born on/after May 1, 2015, are eligible. 9u Division: Players born on/after May 1, 2014, are eligible. 10u Division: Players born on/after May 1, 2013, are eligible. 11u Division: Players born on/after May 1, 2012, are eligible. 12u Division: Players born on/after May 1, 2011, are eligible.

6. Baseball Tournaments All roads will lead to Atlanta! District Tournaments: 6/7/24 - 6/9/24; winners advance to Region Region Tournaments: 6/14/24 6/16/24; winners advance to State State Tournaments: 6/21/24 6/23/24 in Atlanta, GA Winners and runner ups from all 7 State tournaments will advance to Championship Championship Tournament: 6/28/24 6/30/24 in Atlanta, GA (aka World Series) Open Championships: 6/14/24 6/16/24: Open to all classifications Open Championship-Regional: 6/21/24 6/23/24 NOTE: Criteria for All-Star player and coach selection will be provided at the mandatory pre-season coaches meeting

Park Rules - CHANGES Baseball All Ages: 7 run limit per inning 5U 3 pitches / 1 tee Hit off tee is limited to a DOUBLE; all base runners limited to a DOUBLE 6U NO tee 3 strikes = out; will still receive 5 pitches Softball All Ages: 5 run limit per inning except 6U will be 7 run limit per inning 6U 3 pitches / 1 tee Hit off tee is limited to a DOUBLE ; all base runners limited to a DOUBLE

Improvements, Purchases & Future Updates Improvements $30K in field improvements in 2018 Field 2 & Field 5: removed grass infields to accommodate both baseball and softball practice and games New Concession Stand and new items for the Concession Stand New fencing New sound system Repairs on all field houses Updates to the Clubhouse Purchases Tractor with attachments to enhance field maintenance Future Updates All Fields: tilling and adding dirt, and brick dust Field 5: moving fence back to accommodate up to 14U baseball Battings Cages: moving to unused open areas around the park to be safer and open more space for parking New Fields: all equipment is on-site to begin clearing trees from land Plans to hold softball pitching & catching clinic

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES 11/19/23: Spring Registration OPENS 11/19/23 11/25/23: Early Bird Registration Discount ($25 off Baseball; $50 off Softball) 11/25/23 12/31/23: Softball Registration Discount ($25 off) 1/8/24 1/15/24: Late Registration Fee (+ $30) 1/15/24: Registration CLOSES (no exceptions) 1/18/24: MANDATORY Pre-Season Coaches Meeting; 6PM at the Clubhouse 1/20/24 1/24/24: Evaluation Weekend 1/22/24; 1/23/24; 1/25/24: Draft Nights 1/29/24: Practices Begin 3/2/24 & 3/3/24: Opening Day Ceremony & Games
