What suggestions do you have for how your league could make your cricket more competitive (if you are not currently satisfied with this)? What about an u12 or u14 category for those who are not yet at a certain level and don't get the same amount of playing time as those on a pathway. I m satisfied with the level that was on offer for my son this year Happy at present Transition from junior to adult cricket is non existent-my eldest will probably stop playing as he doesn't want to play 40 over cricket with seniors especially if he's only good enough as an extra fielder. He has absolutely loved playing junior cricket .
Response to Have you any other views on this seasons enforced or creative changes to cricket that you would like to share with us . I m satisfied with the level that was on offer for my son this year Cricket has been a life saver for us. It has been a real focus for the boys who would have struggled without a team sport. It has meant they can socialise with friends safely. Abergavenny club have been excellent. I think the club has been superb with helping the children get back together and playing. I was really worried about my sons wellbeing during lockdown, the lack of sport was a huge impact. Thank you to the club and coaches for being so brilliant and providing the opportunity for the kids to play. Playing rugby, football, netball and tennis the measures implemented were excellent. Grateful for the efforts made by Cricket Wales and locally by Geraint Leach to ensure a good number of fixtures. Thanks.
