McArthur High School focuses on providing leadership opportunities, vision board activities, community service projects, employability skills training, and school-wide leadership roles for its students. Additionally, Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) helps young individuals succeed in both education and careers through a national initiative involving prominent leaders and impactful programs.

Purpose and Objectives Purpose and Objectives at at McArthur High School: McArthur High School: 1. The JFG Ambassador provides leadership tasks for peers. 2. JFG leaders participate in vision board activities. 3. JFG leaders produce Community Service Opportunities. 4. JFG members become part of the School Advisory Council Student Membership. 5. Employability Skills and on-the-job-trainings are provided to JFG scholars. 6. JFG members receive multiple opportunities for School-Wide leadership roles.

JAG's History JAG helps young people of truly great promise succeed both in school and on-the-job, leading to a productive and rewarding career. Jobs for America s Graduates is led by a public/private partnership at the national level, comprised of leading Governors, C-Suite Executives among the Fortune 500 and national community leaders. It is organized to support State Affiliates in the high-impact delivery of the JAG Model across middle school, high school, and out-of-school and collegiate young adult populations. JAG is proud to have served over 1.4 million young people since 1980.
MCA Leadership Forum Learning 1. JFG Scholars dress in business attire on select professional study days to model dressing for success. 2. JFG members meet as a board to brainstorm and review project-based learning activities for the month. 3. Guest Speakers join JFG members on professional study days to share employability skills with students.
