  3. OUR AMBITIOUS GOAL Minecraft Education Teams Aim: In each partner- country there is a targeted unique, but not exploited to its full potential, tourist realia that the mixed transnational teams of pupils should explore, and provide creative solutions (by means of revolutionary technology) for its future rentability. At the end of the project pupils have to provide business ideas about exploiting these unique tourist destinations to their full potential. Tasks: 1. Each coordinatorshould select their pupilsfor the mixed international teams. Deadline: 30.04.21 2. Local pupils will upload on Twinspace 2-3 photos of the targeted tourist realia. Deadline: 31.05.21 3. Pupils will get in touch via emails. Deadline: 30.06.21 4. Pupils will share their ideas via Discord. Deadline: 31.08.21 5. Pupils have to generate business plans and prepare presentations about their creative solutions. Deadline: 30.11.21 Final goal: Our pupils have to start up an imaginary retail travel agency as part of the BIGPAR s global brand (BIGPAR stands for the abbreviation of the partner countries). During the last physical mobility in Romania our young entrepreneurs, acting as representatives of the newly set-up full-service retail travel agencies, will have to present their business ideas for introducing virtual and augmented reality components that will significantly raise the potential of underrated tourist localities. The BIGPAR management staff (i.e. teachers from the partner schools) will interview pupils, and then nominate and award the best business proposals that will offer potential tourists a wide range of travel products along with outstanding service.

  5. WHAT DID WE DO? During our wonderful project, pupils from all the partner countries were involved in creating beautiful 3D models for this final output. They downloaded the Microsoft Education version of Minecraft: https://education.minecraft.net/de-de/get-started/download In order to turn the Microsoft models into a real augmented reality, they needed Areeka as a program. They created an Areeka Studio profile on the following page: https://studio.areeka.net/#/home

  6. HOW DID WE MANAGE? It was really hard to work online in international teams but we had our great coordinator in charge for these activities Michael Kitl! 14. LAST BUT NOT LEAST... The whole Partnership would like to give a special credit to our first Austrian coordinator - Thomas Baldauf who linked our project to the activities of the Areeka Studio (based in Vienna Austria). In the video below he provides a step-by-step tutorial with a ready to use WebAR example of how to use the Areeka Studio together with Minecraft Education to create impressive learning scenarios for school purposes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhEPl0wckDM Special thanks to the experts of the Areeka Studio for their amazing cooperation and dedication to the education of the future! https://studio.areeka.net/#/home A big round of applause to our extraordinary pupils who created those wonderful 3D models! Well done, e-mates!
