Using new technologies in an innovative way and
implementing the last advancements make
companies stand out.
AR is one of these last advancements, with huge
potential to implement in different fields of
companies, regardless of the kind of company.
Augmented reality offers us
scenarios that will allow all kinds
of activities and possibilities to
apply to leisure, entertainment or
learning.
Where do you find the potential
to use AR in business?
Do you have any examples how
AR is being used in the field of
Retail and Wholesale?

Let´s think about „How they are using the AR in
business?“
These are a couple of companies
which already use AR technoliges:
The retailer is using augmented reality to let customers preview how
furniture looks on their smartphones before they buy.
Customers use Ikea Place, one of the first apps to use Apple’s ARKit
tech, to place the company’s furniture wherever they envision it in
their homes.
In Ikea Place, customers can view 3-D renderings from different angles
of over 2,000 products before reserving the ones they want in the app,
which directs to the Ikea site to complete purchases.
Currently, large furniture for living rooms such as sofas, armchairs and
storage units are available to preview in the app, though more products
are in the pipeline.
Seeing lifelike versions of Ikea’s products in rooms lets shoppers make a
“reliable buying” decision, said Michael Valdsgaard, leader of digital
transformation at Inter Ikea, the holding company for Ikea.

Uses AR to give the consumers an idea of how the

assembled.
Also they are launching the new LEGO HIDDEN SIDE
app which allows your phone to open the door to a
virtual hidden world where your LEGO sets come
alive in an unfolding ghostly adventure.
