  1. Guided-Inquiry Oxidation-Reduction Augmented Reality (AR) Activity

  2. Breakout Session: Oxidation-Reduction AR Activity Introduction (5 minutes) You will be going into breakout rooms with your team shortly Once in the breakout room, assign each team member a role as follows (see next slide):

  3. For groups of three (the team member who is the reflector is also the recorder)

  4. Breakout Session: Task #1 (10 minutes) Introduce yourself to your team members (5 minutes total time for entire group) Briefly describe to your team members what the duties of your assigned role are (5 minutes total time for entire group) Group team member duties can be accessed via the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gFi9iYiSRDffFUWyipOPXjd7CDPSZ1zA/view?usp=sharing

  5. Breakout Session: Task #2 (10 minutes) Open the Electric Car Battery augmented reality app that you downloaded (instructions were previously e-mailed)

  6. Breakout Session: Task #2 (35 minutes) Complete the activity titled Oxidation-Reduction Reactions in a Lithium-ion Electric Car Battery ,which can be accessed via the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EmAi0MBWPrX69D1Vcc_sNiSQVW8YusHh/view?usp=sharing Work as a team, answering each question for the assigned model. Everyone writes down answers, but the recorder will type in answers in your group google doc (Dr. Shapiro will provide a google doc to each group in their breakout room) This activity is based on the oxidation-reduction lecture topics that we recently covered. Call Dr. Shapiro if you have questions (via zoom function)
