Actions Arising from TRANSSC-47 Agenda item # Recommendations / Actions Status The Secretariat should inform SSDS about TRANSSC-47 decision on DPP DS-554: Advisory Material for Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (20XX Edition) to proceed for CSS approval. CLOSED Approved by CSS 47.3.1 The Secretariat to proceed to STEP 8 (submission to Member States for comments) of DS-543: IAEA Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (20XX Edition) CLOSED 47.3.3 (a) Submitted CLOSED The secretariat to consult with relevant TRANSSC members and discuss WNTI- 05/CDN-04 with IMO. 47.3.3 (b) Consultation was held with IMO CLOSED TRANSCC Secretariat will coordinate with IAEA Division of Nuclear Security to find out the possibilities of integration of D-value and A1/A2 values. The outcomes will be shared with TRANSSC-48. 47.5.1 (a) Included in T-48 Agenda NRT- 4.3 NORMEX WG chair will coordinate with TRANSSC scientific secretary for arrangement of meetings and coordination with RASSC as needed. 47.5.1 (b) NORMEX WG Chair to report 2
Actions Arising from TRANSSC-47 Agenda item # Recommendations / Actions Status Proceeding of TRANSSC-47, TTEGs reports, and their actions plan will be incorporated into the end of the term report by TRANSSC chair and scientific secretary. The same will be posted on TRANSSC-47 webpage by end of January 2024. Germany will prepare a survey questionnaire and share with scientific secretary to launch it among TRANSSC Members. The survey results will be shared with TRANSSC-48. CLOSED 47.6.1 Posted CLOSED 47.6.3 Included in T-48 Agenda 5.1 OPEN WG on Review/Revision process for SSR-6 will develop a proposal and submit to TRANSSC-48 for approval. 47.7.1 No information available with Secretariat ToRs drafted by Secretariat are WG on TNPP/SMRs will finalize the ToRs and develop a roadmap based on draft ToRs. The same will be submitted to TRANSSC-48 for approval.
