Aim of session Provide you with information on how to create alerts for your evidence/literature search Advise on setting up journal table of contents Offer an introductory session to internet alert feeds Ultimately... To ensure you receive new, published material relevant to your research or field of expertise
1. Search Alerts You can set up alerts to previous information/ literature searches These are relevant to resources held at WAHT and nationally across the NHS and general internet Cochrane Library NHS Evidence TRIP HDAS Databases Dynamed Google Scholar
Search Alerts HDAS NHS Evidence Dynamed Cochrane Library Google Scholar TRIP CKS no specific alert service available these would be included in the wider NHS Evidence pages. UptoDate no current means to create an alert within an institution subscription only possible when subscribe as an individual. What s New can be browsed to area of interest.
2. Journal Table of Contents Journal TOCs are alerts to inform you when a new issue of a journal is available either paper or electronic 3 ways demonstrated Single sign on collection Direct to publishers Specific journal websites

Once you have made your selection, click on Home, or Followed Journals under your registration name. Ensure Email Alerts is an.other@worcsacute.nhs.uk
