Update on Project Status and Timeline Incorporation of solar assets into DNE dispatch was approved by the NEPOOL Participants Committee on September 1, 2022 ISO New England filed tariff changes with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on November 30, 2022 under Docket No. ER23-517-000, requesting an effective date of December 5, 2023 FERC issued an order on January 19, 2023 accepting the Solar DNE changes with an effective date of December 5, 2023 ISO-NE PUBLIC 3

How to Prepare for DNE dispatch On December 1, 2022, ISO New England distributed an email notice to contacts of all modeled solar assets, providing instructions to prepare for DNE dispatch The notice provides instructions for three groups: Solar assets installing a new RTU Solar assets configuring an existing RTU Solar assets transferring Designated Entity (DE) Dispatch locations RTU installation and configuration can take up to one year to complete, so participants should begin immediately ISO-NE PUBLIC 4

Instructions for All Solar Generator assets Email AskISO@iso-ne.com with the following information: Identify a primary and alternate contact person for each asset that will become dispatchable Describe the RTU status of each affected asset, including which set of instructions you intend to follow (new RTU, existing RTU, or DE Transfer). If you need assistance in determining this, please contact Participant Support and Solutions Request a copy of OP-18 Metering and Telemetering Criteria Appendix F for the full set of RTU requirements ISO-NE PUBLIC 5

Instructions for Those Installing a New RTU Order a circuit and router by emailing the Circuit and Router Order Form and Electronic Dispatch Circuit Installation Site Questionnaire to itcommdept@iso-ne.com Install the circuit and router using an ISO New England approved vendor Test the connectivity of the circuit and router with ISO New England IT Communications Complete the instructions on slide 7 for configuration of existing RTUs ISO-NE PUBLIC 6

Instructions for Those Configuring an Existing RTU Notify ISO New England Data Communications of what RTU your asset(s) will be using by emailing the RTU Information Form to RTUAdmin@iso-ne.com Receive an RTU configuration worksheet with the required data points from ISO New England Data Communications Configure your RTU Schedule and test your RTU configuration to verify telemetry data with ISO New England Data Communications ISO-NE PUBLIC 7

Instructions for Those Transferring DE Dispatch Location Include detail on the Ask ISO email response, specifying who the receiving DE Dispatch Location will be Participant Support will review the email response and connect the Participant with the ISO Asset Registration Team ISO-NE PUBLIC 8
