Karen Hale, Assistant Center Manager at Columbia Cascade Dispatch Office, shares updates on IMS program activities. The IMS application for 2014 was released before the furlough, with training scheduled for March 31 to April 4. New AD hiring for IMS training has been initiated, and procedures for IMS dispatch remain consistent for 2014. The communication with the IMS group, dispatch communities, and training officers continues to strengthen. The post also discusses the coordination with the IMS Steering Committee and the steps taken to ensure compliance with program requirements.
