Individual Sewage Disposal System (ISDS) Construction Examples Slideshow for Alternative ISDS NOTE: The construction photos in this slideshow are not intended to provide detailed instructions on how to construct an ISDS but only to depict the types of systems allowed in Ventura County and to show some general construction techniques.

  15. Collection bed being installed. Drain rock will be installed over the piping. The collection bed is connected to three seepage pits in the bottom of the bed in this example. The pits can also be located outside of the bed. The filter sand and then the distribution bed are placed over the collection system.
