  2. Tennis Director, Rares Petritoi and the teaching staff have developed a great curriculum around the USTA Quick Start program with our students best interest in mind. Our classes are designed to meet the needs of any child from 3 to 18, beginner to College bound tournament player. Students may choose from one class per week or two. Each class has a corresponding match play time. We have regular monthly in-house tournaments, holiday special events, season end Junior Championships and much more. If your child is a beginner or advanced beginner, just select the Level 1 or Level 2 class set up for your child s age category. Anyone interested in our Level 3 or 4 program may be asked to do a quick evaluation with Mike Dolph, our Junior Program Coordinator, or from an age Coordinator. Memberships are set up for each category and designed to help you get the most of your time at Bass River. Each of our eight age divisions has a Coordinator. A staff Pro assigned to take care of all aspects of that age category. The Pro will regularly check-in with parents, offer progress updates, promote students to higher level classes when they are ready, and bring all age-appropriate special events to the attention of the players and parents. Each of the ages and levels has a fun-play or match play component. As part of your clinic payment, please come to your assigned match play to be sure and reinforce the skills worked on in clinic. We hold weekly and monthly events including a Grand Prix and a High School Match Play. Please see page 3 for the dates of each event. Your child s Coordinator will notify you of all approaching events. Bass River has a Boy s and Girl s North Shore League travel team. Our 12 & Under through 18 & Under teams compete each Saturday afternoon and have a team practice every Friday afternoon.
