REMARKS (LSSC PROGRAMMES OR ASSOCIATION PROGRAMMES) REMARKS (LSSC PROGRAMMES OR ASSOCIATION PROGRAMMES) S/N S/N MONTH MONTH PROGRAMME PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES OBJECTIVES AGE/TARGET AGE/TARGET VENUE VENUE 3rdto 15thApril, 2021 Participation of the State Wheel Tennis Team at the 2020 National Sports Festival in Edo State. Tennis Clinic for Lagos State Tennis Athletes and U-13 School pupils in conjunction with AJ Tennis Academy an American based Academy. To compete with other States Teams so as to know their strength so far and develop on it. Introducing the game of tennis to teach 3Cs: Curiosity about the world; Concern for the world; Confidence to change the world; and as well as combining Education with Tennis to teach underprivileged kids in developing countries how to make positive impact in their world. At the end of the Festival, the State Wheelchair Tennis Team won One Bronze Medal in the Female Singles. After the two day clinic, a few of the pupil were discovered from the programme and gifts items were distributed to them. 1 1 Open Edo State 9thto 10th June, 2021 50 pupils within Education District IV and the Lagos State Tennis players Rowe Park Yaba. 2 2 10thto 20th October, 2021 Participation of the State Tennis Team at the National Youth Games held in Ilorin, 2021 Participation of the State Tennis Team at the 1st Davnotch National Open Tennis Championship in Abuja, 2021 Participation of the State Tennis Team at the 43rd Central Bank of Nigeria National Senior Open Tennis Championship held in Abuja, 2021 Participation of the State Tennis Team at the World Tennis Tour J4 and J5 held in Abuja, Ghana, Benin and Togo 2021 At the end of the festival, a silver medal was won in the female doubles and one bronze medal in the boys singles. At the end of the competition, a Gold medal was won in the female doubles. 3 3 U-15 Ilorin 13thto 22nd May, 2021 4 4 Open Abuja 20thto 29th May, 2021 To compete with other States Teams so as to know their strength so far and develop on their games. At the end of the competition, a Gold medal was won in the female doubles. 5 5 Open Abuja June to November To compete with other States and international tennis players so as to know their strength so far and develop on their games. Abuja, Ghana, Benin and Togo At the end of the competition, a Gold medal was won in the male singles and in the male doubles. A Gold medal was won in female doubles. 6 6 Open

It also gives the Student adequate exposure to the athletes. It also helps in discovering new athletes. January-March U-14 Rowe Park Lagos State Inter Club Competition To create platform for all the clubs to display their great potentials for sporting career. To scout for athletes that would represent the State in Local and International Competitions. To build confidence and evaluate the strength and weakness of the Lagos State Tennis athletes. January-March U-14/U-18 Rowe Park Davinotch Junoir/Senior Open To create platform for all the clubs to display their great potentials for sporting career. To scout for athletes that would represent the State in Local and International Competitions. To build confidence and evaluate the strength and weakness of the Lagos State Tennis athletes. To identify, groom, train and nurture Tennis players in different age categories to stardom. To keep Primary and Secondary School pupil busy while on holidays. It will create awareness for upcoming youths.
